Louise Hall studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and La Roche University, Pittsburgh, PA, graduating cum laude with a BS in Graphic Design. During her career in industry, she worked with ad agencies and corporate business graphics firms in Pittsburgh, New Jersey, New York City, and California. After leaving the corporate world, she engaged in freelance project work. Her focus has recently transitioned to textile arts, mixed media, and digital images.
2019: Digital Images “Palea 2”, “Below the Surface 1”, and “Below the Surface 2” were exhibited in the Kings Art Center Annual Winter Exhibit in Hanford, California.

2017: “Water Visions Kimono” and “Night Market Vest” — Elegant Threads: Wearable Art and Surface Design. One of 50 artists from around the world selected for this juried exhibition held at the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta, Florida.
2017: “Serif” and “Logarithmic Dreams 4” — A Patchwork History Quilt & Fiber Arts Exhibition. One of 20 artists selected for this juried exhibition held at The Elliott Museum in Stuart, Florida.
2017: “Religion Poisons Everything” — Stitched! Embracing the Quilt as Art (SAQA Regional Exhibit - Florida Region) One of 45 artworks selected for this juried exhibition held at the Martin County Court House Cultural Center in Stuart, Florida. Sold at artists reception.
2017: "Urbana" — Best Modern Style Quilt - World Quilt Florida quilt competition held in Orlando, Florida.
2014: “Religion Poisons Everything” — Form, Not Function: Art Quilt at the Carnegie. One of 25 pieces selected from over 300 entries by artists across the United States into this prestigious national art quilt show. This annual juried exhibition celebrates innovation and creative thought in the medium of art quilts. Carnegie Center for Art & History in New Albany, Indiana.
